Canabalt creator Adam Saltsman has announced that he is launching a new indie studio out of Austin, Texas, named Finji Games. It's being founded fellow developer Rebekah Saltsman, his wife, and the two are funding the new studio out-of-pocket.

The announcement (via Gamasutra) shows that the pair are already at work on several projects through collaborations with other indie developers. The line-up is tactical survival game Overland, turn-based strategy Portico (formerly Grave), and the claustrophobic game Capsule, all of which are being developed in partnership with other developers. Night in the Woods is also listed, but Finji is careful to note that it is just doing some administrative and production work rather than developing it themselves.
