Adventure game 1954: Alcatraz will make a break for Steam and GOG on March 11, Irresponsible Games has announced. It will cost $19.99, and feature a full localization in English and German, with French and Russian subtitles available.

1954: Alcatrax focuses on San Franciscan couple Joe and Christine. Joe is serving 40 years in Alcatraz for armed assault from a big job he pulled off, but his wife is left at home with angry gangsters asking for their cut. The player can decide whether the couple will be reunited or if Christine will take the money and run--which we can't really advise against, because to be honest Joe doesn't sound like much of a catch.

The German release received a few middling reviews.
