Arma 3 'Zeus' DLC mode lets Game Masters control battle

Bohemia is still working on Arma 3

Bohemia is still working on Arma 3's final campaign DLC episode, but it's also looking at fresher, more exciting additions. The developer today announced a free DLC named Zeus, which will turn one player into a 'Game Master' to run an Arma 3 session a bit like a Dungeons & Dragons DM. They'll get to set and change objectives, spawn units, and mess with the world, all in real-time.

Zeus's Game Master will look down from above, the announcement trailer shows, able to quickly make changes like spawning a friendly vehicle to pick a player, dropping roadblocks in their path, and sparking some very dramatic lightning on cue.

"The Zeus system is pretty modular too, so community creators can easily use it in their missions. Or take it apart and turn into something completely different," design lead Karel Moricky said in today's announcement. "There are no rules, only those you make yourself."

Zeus is due to launch some time from April to June. Check its page for more, and eye this trailer:
