PC strategy game publisher Paradox Interactive has opened yet another development studio. Paradox's Johan Sjoberg explained that they wanted to go "as far north as we dared to go." But because they already have a studio named Paradox North, they had to name it Paradox Arctic.

Comprised of former members from DICE and Starbreeze, the studio has been tasked with "continued development" on War of the Roses, originally developed by Fatshark and released in 2012. Fatshark is currently working on a follow-up, War of the Vikings. It's currently unclear exactly how Paradox Arctic fits into the puzzle.
