Developer Beamdog has completed work on the iOS version of Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition, bringing the faithful restoration of the original to iPad. The game includes the original Shadows of Amn campaign, along with the 30 new locations found in the PC version released back in November.

The iPad version of Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition will feature these expansions: Throne of Bhaal, Fist of the Fallen, Unbound, A Shadow's Life, In Defense of the Wild, The Black Pits II, Gladiators of Thay, and Gallery of Heroes II. The game will also include multiplayer, widescreen support, remastered artwork, loads of new dialogue, and various interface and gameplay improvements.

Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition is available now through the App Store for $14.99, which is $10 lower than its PC counterpart. Additional party members and portrait packs are available through in-app purchases.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
