The Banner Saga begins today with a new launch trailer

After completing the journey from Kickstarter to full retail release, The Banner Saga has finally begun on PC and Mac with a new launch trailer.

The Banner Saga's long journey from Kickstarter success story to full retail release has concluded. Stoic Studio, the indie studio created by former BioWare developers, is celebrating this momentous occasion with a trailer that shows a good chunk of what the turn-based RPG will offer.

The trailer (below) shows off hand-drawn animated cutscenes that dive into the game's story. The turn-based combat is gorgeously animated in similar fashion.

Kickstarter backers should already have their copies available, along with the Insane Viking pre-order bonus. Everyone else can pick up The Banner Saga now on PC and Mac.
