Game of Thrones from Telltale confirmed

Telltale has confirmed the Game of Thrones video game adaptation. It will be coming in 2014.

Tonight at the VGX 2013 awards, Telltale Games presented a teaser-trailer for the rumored Game of Thrones adaptation. It's coming in 2014, but the team said they're just getting started on nailing down how to showcase the characters.

On the subject of action, Telltale said that it will be similar to other Telltale games, but that the plot will demand some level of "big battles."

      Will this be an episodic retelling of the books or will you be able to do you own thing, like rescue Eddard or shoot repeatedly Joffrey with his own crossbow

        It's based on the TV show, not the books (hence the logo, music, and HBO logo at the end). Either way, I don't think we know enough to know yet! I wouldn't count on "alternate history" happening, though.
