The strategy game Skulls of the Shogun is now available on iOS devices, 17-Bit Studios has announced. The universal app costs $4.99, and requires an iPhone 4, iPad 2, or fourth-gen iPod Touch at minimum.
The announcement (via Polygon) stresses that this is the full package, including all five episodes, the volcano island, and all 36 multiplayer maps. You can pass-and-play for multiplayer, or take on Steam version users thanks to cross-platform support. You can find it on the App Store.
17-Bit has been expanding Skulls of the Shogun to more platforms, first through Steam and now on iOS. Developer Borut Pfeifer was frank in saying that the initial Windows 8 exclusivity hurt the game, even going so far as to call Microsoft "institutionally incompetent."
