It's the Thanksgiving weekend edition of Weekend Confirmed and hosts Garnett Lee and Jeff Cannata welcome in Shacknews' Ozzie Mejia and Shane Satterfield to give thanks to all things video games. The show begins with an extensive look at Forza Motorsport 5, discussing everything that makes the game one of the Xbox One's best launch titles. From there, the topic turns to Forza's controversial use of microtransactions, dissecting in detail an interview Garnett had conducted with Turn 10's Dan Greenwalt shortly before the start of the show. The topic then turns to Dead Rising 3 and Xbox Fitness before discussing the PS4 and Xbox One's respective controllers and wrapping the show up with thoughts on Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The show wraps up with Thanksgiving Finishing Moves and the post-show Tailgate.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
