Now that we got reviews of those new consoles out of the way, it's time to start talking about old games. Specifically, an 11 year old game. Soulcalibur 2 HD Online is now available on PS3 and Xbox 360 for $19.99.

A Wii U release is "not impossible," Namco Bandai has said, but "it depends on the demand for it." And it seems unlikely we'll see a PS4 or Xbox One release, too.

I posted about this earlier but have had some more time to play this evening. PS3 version.

DO NOT BUY THIS AT FULL PRICE FOR ONLINE PLAY:
      - if you host a game, you select time limit, number of rounds, etc. You're kicked back to the first option screen after the end of the match. It does not automatically set you up to re-host! That means you also have select all of your settings again
      - session lag has been mostly terrible, even if you say "Connection Quality 5 Only" (??) in your options. Given that this is so dependent on inputs, lag = you lose/button mash. Not certain if this is due to PSN traffic right now. My net connection is 28Mbps/1Mbps
      - people that you fight against are not listed in your "Played With" list, so you can't conveniently put together a hit list or list of people who actually play SC2
      - I haven't tried this yet, but I believe if you want to play with a friend, you have to create a private room, send an invite, play your game... and then I think you're kicked back to the Create Room menu where you have to send another invite to your friend. For EACH match. (re: untested, but appears like it'd be like that)
      - there are no online tournament options

      It hurts so bad.

One more worst thing ever: You are forced to watch the arena camera spin introduction + intro speech + both character intros for every single match. There is no way for the host or opponent to skip these. That's like 10-20 seconds you're forced to watch over and over again before every match.

        WTF Namco?

Local multi... as in local vs? Yeah, it's there. Regular and Team Battle.

PSA- SC2 was already HD when it was released on the Xbox original like 10 or 11 years ago. It ran in 720p but with a retarded 4:3 cropped frame. It was one of the first HD console games ever, next to dragon's lair 3D and street hoops.
