New Xbox 360 bundles coming this holiday, starting at $250

7

Sure, Xbox One is coming out this holiday season. But not everyone will be buying next-gen hardware. Microsoft has announced its holiday lineup for Xbox 360. These bundles don't drop the price on Microsoft's current-gen offering. Instead, they simply bundle more stuff.

Starting October 13, you'll be able to pick up two bundles for $249.99 each. The 4GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle includes Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures, and one month of Xbox Live Gold. The 250GB Holiday Value Bundle includes Halo 4, Tomb Raider, and one month of Xbox Live Gold.

For $349.99, you'll be able to get Microsoft's big 250GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle, which includes Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures, and Forza Horizon.

The MSRP for the standard 250GB Xbox 360 remains $249.99, making these bundles a better deal. However, if you're on the market for a current-gen system, perhaps it would be best to wait for Black Friday.

i find it crazy that ps4 and one will only be $100-200 more than the old gen

its like those people who decide on a DSi vs a 3DS because theyre the same price, its obviously the 3ds, pick the 3ds!

But you can get a ton of cheap games for current gen. I get what you're saying...I just don't see how it's a better deal, at least not for the next 12 months.

Or the people that get an already-outdated phone to save $100 up front on a $2000 contract.

Idiotic on MS's part. Just offer super cheap consoles - stop trying to milk consumers. Pathetic.

Consumers should really stop buying consoles at the prices MS is offering if they want the price to come down. Evidently, they aren't doing that.

Psst. They exist to milk consumers. These are entertainment products.

Clearly it's a waste trying to explain why this would be annoying to consumers. Feel free to mail Microsoft your money since you seem to not care about it. It's fun!

For all you haters, I'm thinking that this is a good deal and might be a good way to get to play Titanfall (which is the only game I'm interested in for Xbone)
