Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior won't quite make its previously-scheduled September closed beta window. It's now set to deploy in October and Torn Banner Studios is accompanying the announcement with more details on the ferocious Viking.

The Viking will be the only class in the game that can dual-wield one-handed weapons. He can also go into a berseker rage, increasing the speed of his combos as he goes. One of the more balanced characters in terms of health and speed, the Viking can carry a shield and then proceed to toss it like a projectile.

You can check out the Viking in action in the trailer below. The final version of Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior is expected to arrive on PC later this fall and you can get a taste of what to expect in our preview.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Seriously fuck this game. They still have a ton of bug fixes to do for original game. How can they be wanting to come out with a $15 expansion when the bugs are not even closed to finished. It's a pure cash grab and if you think they are going to patch this game any better than the original, THINK AGAIN.
