While Microsoft revealed exactly what games will be available on Day One of their undated next-gen console, Sony has decided to disclose what games will be available by the end of this year on their console-with-a-date. Odd.
Sony promises 33 games will be available on PlayStation 4 by year's end, with 15 games available at retail on Blu-ray disc, and an additional 18 available as PlayStation Network exclusives.
- Blu-ray Games:
- NBA 2K14
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Skylanders Swap Force
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- Battlefield 4
- Madden 25
- FIFA 14
- NBA Live
- Killzone: Shadow Fall
- Assassins Creed Black Flag
- Just Dance 2014
- LEGO® Marvel Superheroes
We've bolded games that are PlayStation exclusive in some way--minus any exclusive DLC deals. On the retail front, it appears PS4 has very few exclusives to entice gamers, with all three exclusive games coming from Sony's first-party studios. However, the digital story is quite different.
- PlayStation Network Games:
- Basement Crawl
- Pool Nation Extreme
- Pinball Arcade
- War Thunder
- DC Universe Online
- Planetside 2
- Doki-Doki Universe
- Tiny Brains
- Super Motherload
- Blacklight Retribution
Anyone notice Flower is coming to PS4? Should be pretty!
Andrew Yoon posted a new article, 33 PS4 games to be released by end of 2013.

I'm thinking Knack might be my first game... but maybe Watch_Dogs if it is available on release day.
Knack looks like a solid first party action adventure, definitely worth it.
None of the exclusives look that interesting. Launch day The Last Guardian would have sold me the system instantly.
They appear to be missing infamous on their list :(
ah yes, reading comprehension for the lose.
Yea got bumped to Feb. 2014.
people are talking about how awesome the launch games are and personally i'm more stoked for GTAV.
At this point any news about The Last Guardian would be good...
I'm just sad that I'll probably never see another Wipeout on these lists #rippsygnosis
I friggin' love me some Wipeout. That makes me sad as well.
My brain is too slow now to play Wipeout. I played it with a friend last weekend and had no idea what was going on.
Well, I haven't played one of them in probably 10 years... so I might be too slow now too. :)
Man, I would fucking LOVE to see a Wipeout game with graphics that utilised top of the line PC's.
While using the Occulus. Just to make myself even more angry.
Holy shit, Occulus Rift Wipeout just blew my mind even thinking about it.
The team was laid off after the PS2 Wip3out game. Then again before the Vita game showed up. There have been different teams involved over the years and I am guessing that when the core few people want to tackle new hardware they go a bit silent. That seems to be the pattern anyways. I am hopeful anyways.
Honestly,I'm just waiting for The Division and Destiny.Nothing else gives me the urge to rush out and blow $400.
Someone paste the list? Blocked at work.
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Skylanders Swap Force
Need for Speed: Rivals
Killzone: Shadow Fall
Assassins Creed Black Flag
Just Dance 2014
LEGO® Marvel Superheroes
PlayStation Network Games:
Pool Nation Extreme
DC Universe Online
What is Flower doing in here?
A quick look at google doesn't return anything meaningfull. Look like a simple port.
Padding that number of games stat.
I have seen padding in console launches but this list is just solid. There are even several games that are likely to be great.
