Capcom vs SNK 2 is coming back to PS3. The mash-up of Street Fighter and King of Fighters was originally released in 2001 on PS2, and if you want to relive the cross-series goodness, you'll get your chance this Thursday.

The PlayStation.Blog announced the upcoming release. It sports 44 characters and six "combat grooves." No price was mentioned, but PS2 Classics tend to go for $10. It's probably no coincidence that this is coming just after Evo 2013, the fighting game tournament that marks the genre's most visible event. After all, watching experts show their insanely honed skills might have put you in the mood to sharpen some of your own.
