StarCraft II opens up Arcade games to demo

As apparently it's Freedom Day or something somewhere, Blizzard is celebrating with a little freedom of its own. Until Monday, all the StarCraft II custom maps Blizzard has singled out to be Featured in the Arcade will be playable by everyone who only has the demo.

As apparently it's Freedom Day or something somewhere, Blizzard is celebrating with a little freedom of its own. Until Monday, all the StarCraft II custom maps Blizzard has singled out to be Featured in the Arcade will be playable by everyone who only has the demo.

Seventeen Arcade games are open in all, ranging from tower defense and spaceship battles to clones of Bomberman and ChuChu Rocket. If you don't already have the Starcraft II Starter Edition--still a damned silly name for a demo, if you ask me--hit up Blizzard to download it.

        Actually you'd be surprised the amazing stuff some in the SC2 modding community have created. There are some really creative games.

          I only play Arcade when I do play SC2. I find it a lot less stressful than the original multiplayer.
