With Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition being pulled from the App Store and Beamdog's official site, the future of the game remains in legal limbo. But the publisher is holding out hope that things will be resolved so that Baldur's Gate 3 can be a reality.

"Baldur's Gate 3, we are still interested in the concept, but currently I'd say were very demoralized," Beamdog president Trent Oster told RPS.

Oster had previously told Shacknews that the best-case scenario could see the contract dispute solved in a few weeks. "Worst-case, it could be a while. We've been trying for a while to work through the issues, so the legal request to take the games down wasn't unforeseen," he said.
