We were impressed by what we saw of Project Spark at E3, but if you're a skeptic, you can try it out for yourself soon enough. Microsoft has opened beta sign-ups for the game, though plans for exactly when and how the testing will begin are still unclear.

The beta page (via VG247) is now accepting applications, presumably for the PC version since Xbox One won't be out for a while. It doesn't give further details on how the waves will roll out, but recommends fans keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter to stay in the loop.

I'm guessing you'll need Windows 8 and a Live account.

I'm guessing it'll be like LBP where there's maybe a dozen or two people that manage to make really cool shit by throwing their life into it, and then a bunch of really dumb levels made by everyone else.
