Peggle 2 announced, coming this year

PopCap announced Peggle 2 during its press conference today, and said it will be coming later this year.

After a lengthy display of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare during EA's E3 press conference, PopCap's John Vechey finished with one more surprise: Peggle 2 is in development and coming this year. He didn't give details on platforms or a more specific date, though, so for now all we know is that we can plink some more pegs sometime before 2014.
