May has arrived, and with it comes a new set of PlayStation Plus arrivals to help you avoid the nice weather. This month will be headlined by Sleeping Dogs, the open-world action game modeled after Hong Kong action movies. It's due next week, on May 7.

The PlayStation Blogcast (via Joystiq) revealed Sleeping Dogs, along with a handful of other games joining the Instant Game Collection this month. Those include The Pinball Arcade with four tables (Tales of the Arabian Nights, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Black Hole, and Theater of Magic), Knytt Underground, and both the PS3 and Vita versions of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend. They won't necessarily release in that order, but those should round out your games for the month if you're a Plus member.

Awesome! I have sleeping dogs for PC, but it seems like a game i'd rather play while relaxing on my couch.

I purchased and completed Sleeping Dogs on Xbox 360, but I will gladly play through it again on PS3 now that I'm being given an opportunity to "own" it again. This is fantastic news...SD is easily one of the best gems of Square Enix from 2012 and should not be missed.
