Walmart, Amazon and GameStop have now started taking pre-orders for the game, and dropping $59.99 in advance will get you the Infernal Helm, which will grant your console character more experience points as you progress through the game. The helm will be wearable by all your PS3 characters, but it is not transferable to any PC characters. The redeemable code will be available in the box when you receive your game after it is released.

There are still no release details yet, or any announcement if the game will be coming to Xbox 360. Of course, Blizzard could be biding its time until May 21 to announce its popular dungeon crawler at Microsoft's Next Xbox event, as it did when it revealed the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game for Sony in February.

Sounds like a crappy pre-order bonus. Leveling doesn't even take very long in the game...

Yeah, they should just let you start on a higher difficult level. Haven't to run through on normal, with or without some bullshit item, is a waste of time.

power-leveling is when you have a higher level person help you kill higher level monsters in such a way that the lower level person gets all the xp for it.

having a item with xp mod on it is not power-leveling.

This is Blizzard just throwing the hat in the ring... They don't even know what the game is supposed to be about anymore.

They're saying "just get to max level so you can grind for gear". RIP Diablo :/

Did you actually enjoy playing through Normal, Nightmare, then finally Hell in D2? I had way more fun farming Mephisto, Pindle, Cow runs and Baal than running through the god damn desert looking for the horadric staff bits.

Unfortunately in D3 so much loot was so awful that farming wasn't fun.

seriously, what is the point of having multiple difficulties (normal, nightmare, etc.) once you have a monster power system?

anyway, after the d3 debacle, i can't imagine giving blizzard money ever again.

so you can have a reasonable challenge but go through all 4 acts

there's really no reason to have 2 systems for difficulty scaling in the game. it seems like they could combine the difficulty system (normal, nightmare, hell, inferno) and mp system.

yeah, you can currently play through the whole game on mp10, but you still have to do all 4 difficulties.

diablo 3 is boring enough without having to play through 4 x.
