Next Mass Effect absorbs Kingdoms of Amalur talent

Former members of the Amalur team are now working on the next Mass Effect game.

Big Huge Games hasn't been able to catch a break. After the studio was shuttered due to the collapse of 38 Studios, many members of that team moved onto Impossible Studios--which was closed after Infinity Blade: Dungeons was put on hold. Members for that team are now making their way to BioWare Montreal, to work on the next Mass Effect game.

Internet sleuth Superannuation's new feature on Kotaku reveals that "several senior staffers" have moved to BioWare's game as leads. Colin Campbell will now serve as Mass Effect's lead level designer, while Ian Frazier will be lead gameplay designer.

In spite of the state of Electronic Arts as of late, hopefully their bad luck will end for this project.

Yes, and thank god for that. That story is done and buried, now it's time to explore that universe from a new angle (I hope).

I'd like to see more Quarian stuff before the Geth got out of hand, or the Salarian and Krogan problems.

You should play a Turian C-Sec officer who unveils a political conspiracy.

what you really want to do is play on the cerberus side and perform all sorts of evil deeds for the illusive man

that'd be fun too. That should have been a branching pass in ME3, you could side with him and go that route.

Play a Spectre, solving problems, fighting against evil doer, ogling @ some hunk/babe, visiting ancient runis and distant outpost,

...... WITHOUT the freaking ridiculous backdrop of a galactic hazard of REAPER killing(lol?) everyone while you romancing/adventuring

not really interested in the story before the events of ME3. i need forward motion in plot unless something is just so good that it begs for more backstory (Ender's Shadow is an example of this in another media). don't think that ME qualifies for that
