Respawn Entertainment has continued to be cryptic about what its next game will be, teasing blurry images and a promised presence at this year's E3. While not much more has been revealed about the sci-fi shooter, Respawn has possibly given us a name: Titan.
The company filed for a trademark for the name with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (via VG247), and applies to "video and computer game programs; video games discs; video game software." The application was filed on April 11.
In a post on the company blog last month announcing the departure of partner Jason West, Respawn's Vince Zampella said the showing of the new game at E3 will be "therapeutic" for the team, which is made up largely of former members from Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward.

EA Games Label president Frank Gibeau Says:
"Titles like Respawn - and I think the Insomniac title is a little bit more of an action game than a pure shooter - we'll sprinkle those in where we see opportunistic gaps, either in a release schedule or in a genre standpoint."
He added: "Those typically are more sci-fi oriented shooters, where as the Medal of Honor and Battlefield brands are obviously more modern military oriented.
