BlizzCon, Blizzard's mostly annual showcase for its games, returns to Anaheim, California, on November 8, with tickets going on sale in two batches beginning April 24. They aren't cheap, though, going for $175 a pop for the two-day event.

The first batch will be available through the official BlizzCon website beginning at 7 p.m. PT. The second batch will go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on April 27. If you are interested in food before BlizzCon, you can drop $500 for a ticket to a dinner benefiting the Children's Hospital of Orange County. Those tickets go on sale May 1. Of course, Blizzard knows all their fans can't be there, so you can buy a virtual ticket for the show, giving you access to a livestream of the events and panels. Pricing on that is TBA.

At past events, Blizzard has unveiled new games, and offered hands on time with ones already announced. This year, you can probably expect word on StarCraft: Legacy of the Void, as well as some hands on time with Diablo 3 PS3 and the recently announced collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. We might even get a reveal on what Titan really is, or details on the planned expansion for Diablo 3.

BlizzCon is fun to go to if you've never been. To make the most of your trip I would also plan to got to Disneyland which is across the street, or Knott's Berry Farm while your there. That area has a lot of things to do, if anything you could catch the Medieval Times Dinner Show, and I think they have a Cowboy or Pirate Themed Dinner also.

I went in 2008, 2009, and 2010 and 2008 was the best on in terms of having so many people from GCR there. Think we had like 18-20 of us total and it was awesome as hell running around with everyone. I'm tempted to go this year since I'm sure there will be a ton of good announcements but I'll probably just go with the Virtual Ticket.
