"In the NES version, you fight a big rat and it didn't explain why you're fighting a rat on the moon. That's explained in here because there are rats they're experimenting on and you let them loose and that becomes the rat down there," Capcom producer Rey Jiminez told Siliconera. "Also, how does Scrooge McDuck breathes on the moon? We explain that as well," he added.

Our preview also pointed out another example of DuckTales' expanded storytelling. Instead of simply finding a remote control to summon GizmoDuck on the Moon, you'll have to rescue Fenton and find the parts to activate his superhero alter-ego. "The goal placement is the same but the content is different in some places," Jimenez said.

I trust Way Forward. If they can change up the villain in Double Dragon to some odd Skeletor Shogun with a neon moon base and still make it damn awesome, they can go ahead and experiment however they want with Duck Tales.

Explanation: Draw a space helmet on him.

But where's the motivation, the deep character flaw that Scrooge strives to correct, leading to his vast wealth and moon exploits? Sure you could just put a helmet on him and say it's to avoid the vacuum of space, but the more interesting thing is to answer the emotional why.
