Heavy Gear Assault shows off Unreal Engine 4 trailer

MekTek Studios and Stompy Bot Productions announced today that Heavy Gear Assault will use Unreal Engine 4, and released a new trailer to show it off.

Heavy Gear Assault, the mech game that recently announced crowd-funding plans, will be based on Unreal Engine 4. MekTek Studios and the perfectly named Stompy Bot Productions announced use of the engine today, and released a new trailer to show off just what it can do with UE4 behind it. It takes a lot of horsepower to make a robot rollerskate.

The PC game is seeking $900,000, and still has its pledge site open to contribute. Check out the UE4 trailer below and then decide if you want to stomp a couple of bucks their way.

I was hoping for something more Heavy Gear Blitz related (so North/South/Terrans/Peace River etc) rather than Arena, but eh, I'll still give it a go when it's out.
