Max and the Magic Marker developer Press Play has announced a sequel, titled Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. The game is coming out this spring on Xbox Live Arcade for $15 (1200 MSP), and will feature Max dealing with that scourge of childhood: his little brother.

Max makes the mistake of wishing that his little brother Felix will be taken by evil forces, which seems like an oddly specific and mean-spirited wish. But he apparently forgot that magic, and evil forces, actually exist, so when Felix is taken Max sets out with his magic marker to save him.

Like the previous game, The Curse of Brotherhood will rely mostly on platforming and environmental puzzles, as Max learns to use his marker to manipulate the environment by drawing green vines, strong pillars, and streams of water with his drawing implement.
