The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu is a treat for fans of melodramatic lawyers with amazing hair. In addition to a preview of Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, the mag also revealed Ace Attorney 5.

The newest entry in Capcom's legal series will bring back Phoenix Wright, who was replaced by Apollo Justice in the previous game. This will be the franchise's first foray into Nintendo's current-gen handheld (minus the upcoming Professor Layton spinoff).

According to Andriasang, Wright will be accompanied by a new female partner, "a mysterious girl in yellow clothing." She will serve as "a central figure in the game." In addition, this game will feature fully 3D characters. "You'll be able to select to give certain facial expressions during testimony, as there are facial expression icons on the lower screen," the site notes.

Ace Attorney 5 currently has no release date.

I'm totally ok with this after what they did to Phoenix in AA4. Now lets get a translated AAI2 on the e-shop, on the double!

I thought all the cases were good, but the resolution for the final case was a huge deus ex machina. It was like, dispose all proper arguments and evidence, just settle it all with a yes/no answer to get your resolution. That was utter shite.
