Renegade Kid's Mutant Mudds is coming to the PC on August 30th. But don't fret if you don't recognize it. As one of 3DS eShop's first games, it didn't garner much attention. Hopefully, the retro game will fare a bit better once it makes its way to the computer.

The PC version of the game will add 20 new levels that look akin to CGA graphics from back in the day. (The 3DS original also included Game Boy and Virtual Boy style bonus levels.) "When the thought of doing the classic PC look of the 80's crossed my mind, it was the obvious choice to go with," director Jools Watsham said.

Speaking to Joystiq, Watsham also revealed that the PC version of the game will also include an unlockable character after completion of the main game: Grannie. In addition, there will be "a few other goodies."

I wonder if it will take advantage of 3D Vision

Actually more akin to EVGA graphics. CGA graphics were limited to 4 colors in gaming if I remember correctly.

and that's being generous, because there is a lot of shading going on and obviously more like VGA.
