Sleeping Dogs is going to have a laundry list of PC-specific features, including fully customizable DirectX 11 features, Square Enix has revealed in a new trailer. The game is promised to run at a full 60 frames per second in 1080p.

Mouse and keyboard support is provided (as expected for any good PC game), but you can use a gamepad for the game if you feel the need. The official site gives you the full list of PC details, including minimum system specs.

The game hits shelves for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 14, but a pre-order through Steam gets some Valve-themed items in the game, as well as some perks for Team Fortress 2 players.

Are companies finally starting to learn? Or have the past few winners just been flukes?

More consumers moving to PC as their primary platform, plus developers ramping up on technologies that will apply to the new consoles.

My guess would be that the encoding they use when they upload videos just isn't very good. It might actually be intentional. Less bandwidth at the expense of video quality.

I'll be honest, this game has caught my attention the past week or two. And I'm glad that more and more developers are starting to tread foot back into the PC market with PC-specific features and enhancements to take advantage of today's hardware. Unless its a console exclusive, I ALWAYS buy PC.

I hope the DX11 stuff is ready to go at launch. I don't want to have another Batman: Arkham City where the game is unplayable with DX11 settings because the code isn't ready.

Didn't even know this game existed before this week, but I have to admit after watching some videos I am now intrigued!
