Rumor: PlayStation All-Stars stages, roster leaked

Rumored leaks from the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta seem to spill details on the character roster, stages, and more.

Sony has been slowly drip-feeding us new details about the line-up for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, most recently announcing Cole, Jak and Daxter. But the SS Sony is also a notoriously leaky ship, and those slow reveals may have been spoiled if a rumored (massive) leak turns out to be true.

IGN reports that leaks pieced together from Reddit and NeoGAF give what seems to be a clear picture of everything from characters to stages in the game. The leaks came from unverified photos at first, but have since been purportedly extracted from game data in the recent beta test of the game.

The full line-up claims 20 characters in all -- the six confirmed characters, 13 others, and the Big Daddy which was not produced in the leak but has been previously confirmed. The six known characters seem to be available from the start, while the others have unlockable codes in their data sets. The leak includes Dante (DMC), Heihachi, Nariko (Heavenly Sword), Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Raiden (Metal Gear Solid), Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank), Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet), Sir Daniel Fortesque (MediEval), Spike (Ape Escape), Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal), and Toro. Cole also seems to come in Good and Evil incarnations.

The report also outlines several possible stages: Alden's Tower (Infamous), Black Rock Stadium (Twisted Metal), Columbia (BioShock Infinite), Dojo (Parappa the Rapper), Dreamscape (LittleBigPlanet), Franzea (LocoRoco), Hades (God of War), Invasion (Killzone), Metropolis (R&C), Paris (Sly Cooper), Sandover (Jak & Daxter), San Fransisco (Resistance), Stowaways (Uncharted), and Time Station (Ape Escape).

The leak also may reveal items from several games, and "Minions" like Athena from God of War and Captain Qwark from Ratchet & Clank. It also seems to offer a list of modes, including Arcade Mode, CTF, Challenge Trials, Character Trials, Countdown Attack, Free Roam, General Trials, King of the Hill, LAN Game, and Solo Play.

Nothing in the rumor seems too unbelievable, but it should all be taken with a lump or two of salt until we hear official word from Sony. Shacknews has contacted Sony regarding the rumor and will update as more information becomes available.
