The classic reboot Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is coming to the states, Rising Star Games announced today. It will be published by Bohemia Interactive for the PC and Xbox 360, and it's slated to hit this fall. The game is a modernized version of the 1980s Carrier Command, with elements of strategy and action.
The announcement touts 30 islands with six distinct climates. Your task will be to control a network of islands by managing and upgrading multiple vehicles and weapons in real time. The game itself is a mixture of first- and third-person action.
"The original Carrier Command was an inspiration for me joining the video game industry, and it's an honor to be creating the re-imagined version of the title 25 years later," said Bohemia CEO Marek Spanel, in the announcement. "We have a passionate team that is dedicated to making a game that continues the Carrier Command legacy and we are thrilled to be working with Rising Star Games to bring this title to the US."
