A retail leak suggests the fighting franchise based on the popular manga and anime is being compiled into an HD re-release for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Publishers have been celebrating the very best of the last generation with some truly spectacular HD re-releases, including ICO and Devil May Cry. So of course, the next HD re-release is... Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi? A retail leak suggests the fighting franchise based on the popular manga and anime is being compiled into an HD re-release for PS3 and Xbox 360. The leak was first spotted on Spanish retailer XtraLife (via NeoGAF), including some official-looking box art. While the product description doesn't reveal what games will be included in the collection, a remaster of the three PS2 Budokai Tenkaichi games seems most likely.

This HD re-release may coincide with the release of the next big Dragon Ball Z game: Dragon Ball Z for Kinect.

The hell? This, but still no announcement (or leak, or whatever) of a Kingdom Hearts HD collection?? My heart weeps.

Eh, I can see it. I've played a few of the Budokai games and they're actually pretty solid fighters.
