The first downloadable content pack for Prototype 2 hits consoles today, and Activision has announced a second to follow later this month. The first, "Colossal Mayhem," was announced with the Collector's Edition. CE owners can use the included voucher to pick up the DLC for free.
Everyone else will have to pay $4.99 (400 MSP). It includes a Thermobaric Boom-Stick, three Force Multiplier powers (Warp Vortex, Anti Gravity Field, Air Time), and three custom skins (Heller Test Subject, Infected Heller, Infantry Heller).
On May 29, you can plunk down five more bucks for the "Excessive Force" pack. That one will net you a Viral Infector Grenade Launcher, three more Force Multiplier powers (Shockwave, Chaos Creator Mode, Medusa's Wrath) and another three skins (Armored Heller, Agile Armor Mercer, Zombie Mercer).
Prototype 2 is due for the PC on July 24. So far, Activision and developer Free Radical haven't outlined DLC roll-out plans on the platform.
Steve Watts posted a new article, Prototype 2 'Colossal Mayhem' and 'Excessive Force' DLC dated.
The first Prototype 2 DLC is available today for $4.99, or free for Collector's Edition purchasers. The second will come on May 29.
