Resistance: Burning Skies gameplay video shows off Vita controls

So how does Resistance: Burning Skies work on the Vita? Of course it utilizes the system's dual-analog sticks, but here you can see how the touch-screen controls work as well.

The PlayStation Vita launch library is missing a first-person shooter--an odd omission given how the genre would best highlight the Vita's dual analog sticks. Sony's working on one with developer Nihilistic, a Vita-exclusive adaptation called Resistance: Burning Skies.

Of course, first-party games on Vita must take advantage of the system's other features. In this new developer video, you'll see how the touch-screen is used for melee, the weapon wheel, and grenades.

Looks pretty awesome. I'm a huge Resistance fan, and I've been looking forward to some news pertaining to this game. Touch controls look awesome, but...I'm not sure I ever want to touch my screen and fingerprint it. :(

Touch controls add NOTHING to this type of game. When will developers learn? The dual analogs are a massive improvement on their own, no need to add this garbage!
