Record of Agarest War 2 coming to PS3 in summer 2012

Are you ready for more suggestive, but not actually explicit, retro anime RPG action on your PlayStation 3? Good, because Aksys Games is bringing over Record of Agarest War 2 exclusively to PS3 next summer.

Developed as a collaboration between Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and RED Entertainment, the series has become known for its use of questionably aged anime girls in suggestive situations. The sequel takes it to a whole new level by adding PlayStation Move support. Yes, you'll be able to use the orb-shaped controller in new "Bathtub, Shiatsu, and Massage mini-games."

In addition to some odd mini-games, Agarest War 2's battle system has supposedly been "revamped." The new battle system takes place on an "active grid," and is new to the franchise. Check it out:

Aksys hasn't revealed details of the retail release, but accompanied the special edition of the first game in the franchise with some rather inappropriate goodies.

Dude... what's up with the 8 year old girl in a skimpy outfit? That's freaking me out. I'm ok with the other one.. but damn that's just creepy.

No, that's the thing. I love JRPG's and I used to be huge into anime and manga. I'm pretty familiar with Japanese culture etc... but they kind of crossed the border with that character design. Doing the sexy dance with the bikini top etc... looking literally like a very little girl. It's one thing in anime etc when it's a young looking woman/girl but she is... you know.. developed.. woman-like. But there is something unnerving about a girl who looks like a toddler in a skimpy outfit dancing like that.

Agreed. I lost interest in the first one pretty quickly so I have no idea how graphic/suggestive the games themselves get, but that trailer is creepy.
