The Starhawk private beta start date has been confirmed, with the test kicking off on November 22. Publisher SCEA had previously announced the limited beta would run at some point in November, but failed to lock down a date.
According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, the initial beta will be very limited, with access only open to "a selected number of loyal Warhawk players." As time progresses, senior producer Harvard Bonin noted on the blog, more users will be "slow rolled" into the beta.
The initial phase of of the beta will include a Capture the Flag mode across "a couple of different maps," with additional content being added over time.
More participants are planned for the beta as well, according to the post. "If you have a Starhawk Public Beta voucher from Uncharted 3, you are guaranteed access in early 2012. We’ll have even more features, game modes, guns, weapons, and general goodness to show during that next Beta phase," the post added.
