City Interactive today announced release dates for a pair of its military shooters: the CryEngine 3-powered Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, and arcade flight sim Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II. Like war? Love video games. Snipe 'em up Ghost Warrior 2 is crawling slowly on its belly towards PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, due to be taking its shot on March 20, 2012. While the original used Techland's Chrome Engine 4, the sequel has switched to Crytek's Crysis 2-powering CryEngine 3 for extra prettiness. Jeff played Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 at E3, so give his preview a read to see how it's now more sniping-focused and packs shiny new features including vehicles. Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II is calling "Chocks away!" first, scheduled to land on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 7. When Jeff played it in August, the game was still slated to launch this fall, so there's evidently been a bit of a delay. The PlayStation 3 version will support PlayStation Move for controlling your plane, with the devs also considering a scheme that'd see you holding the wand like a flight stick. A Wii edition of Combat Wings is in the works too, but there's no mention of it in today's announcement.

ugh no it wasent.. all I remember is trying to be all stealth sneaking through trees looking for bad guys then being shot 1000 times by enemys I couldn't see. There were good parts to the game tho and if they can grow on those the 2nd game could be a solid one.
