Though we've known for yonks that Phoenix Wright would be putting up his dukes (nicknamed Law and Order, one hopes) in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, ever since the full roster was leaked, it's still surprising to see the ace attorney in action. Capcom's legal beagle throws down in new screens and trailers released today, against Marvel's space cop Nova.
As well as a dozen new fighters, the revamp adds, new stages, balance tweaks, and new features including a Spectator Mode. It's coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 15, and a PlayStation Vita edition is also in the works.
Now, without much further ado, here are Phoenix Wright and Nova:
Alice O'Connor posted a new article, Phoenix Wright revealed for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
You know he was coming, and now he's here: Capcom has officially revealed Phoenix Wright for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, along with space cop Nova.
Readers of the last few years' worth of Marvel cosmic stories know that this a triumph for Nova, who's quietly been one of Marvel's most badass superheroes. Track down Annihilation and watch him defeat the villain in the most epic of ways.
But the real story, of course, is Phoenix Wright. It's amazing that they built a whole arsenal around him, not only employing the gameplay elements of his titles, but also completely forgoing punches and kicks for wacky anime mannerisms! That's just awesome!
When you said Phoenix Wright at first I thought "Damn this guy got featured in a game!"
