Morning Discussion

Only recently have I discovered the special episode of Psych that reunites a large chunk of the Twin Peaks cast. The episode, entitled "Dual Spires," was a lot of fun to watch. Psych is one of my popcorn shows. It's one of those shows I like to watch to kick back and laugh without a lot of thought. It's quite good, in a silly and entertaining way. Let's face it, it could be worse: I could have spent this Morning Discussion talking about Jersey Shore.

30-second ads sprinkled throughout a youtube video is the best idea ever. I love it when I'm halfway through a day9 daily and suddenly I'm watching some people eating at a restaurant with really loud music

If it's American TV you may not want to watch it.

I'm not going to lie MercFox1, Swedish television barely exists. 80% of popular shows in Sweden are American shows. Popular Swedish shows are localized versions of foreign shows like American Idol, Let's Dance and the Talent shows. All US shows are subtitled and I don't watch a single Swedish show because it all fucking sucks ass.

every US show that enjoys some measure of success will be syndicated in Sweden but unless it's a huge hit like Lost or The Simpsons it's going to be put on some dumbass channel no one watches and die out really fast because everyone who owns a computer in this country watches television online soon after it airs in the US rather than wait for a year to get this shit on Swedish television

Technically, those foreign shows you mention are spin-offs from British shows.

yeah but my point is that hardly anything actually developed in Sweden is popular in Sweden. Those imported and localized shows are hyped up by the media and in the case of Let's Dance and shit like that they recycle the same 20 Swedish "celebrities" who only stay famous because they keep embarassing themselves on TV

If it's a "reality" show, it must go in favour of good drama and genuine reality.

I would be happy with the videos loading at the speed they used to. Every other website I can stream videos at 1080P instantly.. youtube, even 320x240 takes 10 minutes to buffer 2 minutes. Fuckers.

usually I close if there's a 30 second ad for a 3 minute video or some shit like that but today I've gotten an ad at the start of every day9 video I start AND I get 30-second ads in the middle of the video too, usually it manages to land right in a big fight. It's always one of two ads, both for a credit card

In a few months a new light fresh alternative to youtube will come out claiming to be all that Youtube should have been before they went mainstream and sold out. Then in four years that new hip fresh alternative will have become bloated to hell and weighed down with ads, content restrictions and slow speed that youtube has now so a new fresh lightweight alternative will come out.
