Evening Reading

We started a 'Video Games of 2011 We Can't Wait to Play' series today with Xav's picks. Over the rest of the week each of us--Jeff, Alice, Steve, and I--will share with you some of the games we're chomping at the bit to play this year. We didn't set a list of games that had to be covered or anything like that for this. Each of us wrote about what we wanted to. So there's sure to be a game or two that you might think we're crazy for including or leaving out. That ought to make for some good comments at the very least.

Here's today's video game news from the Shack:

And only one strange thing I saw today on a very busy Monday:

          facts about the weather: http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/fitness/wxclimatology/daily/USNV0049?climoMonth=7

it'll be 105 in the day. in the shade, it'll be 95-100. and it's 'dry heat', so you'll feel like it's 90-95 while walking around. just stay in the shade when outside, and you'll have full air conditioning inside every building (which is where you'll be most of the time).

at night, it'll be in the 80's and peek into the upper 70's. it'll feel even cooler than that, with no humidity or clouds to protect you. the buildings will continue to be cool inside.

so if you're from Texas, you'll feel fine in a suit at night and fine walking around in shorts during the day. if you're from Minnesota, LOL.

I've been there before, the dry heat was nice as I am use to swamp weather. It actually gets horrible in VA/DC during summer, it hit 105 with like 90% humidity this year I wanted to die.

I don't see why not. People can bring wives and guests and shit if they want to. If anyone starts trouble, they get kicked out and lose their money.

I guess if anyone had someone they were legitimately afraid of or concerned about they could let me know.
