Rock Band 3 DLC: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company and .38 Special; Free The Doors Track on Offer

1
Tracks from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company and .38 Special will make up next week's round of Rock Band 3 downloadable content, developer Harmonix has announced, while there's also an opportunity to score yourself a Doors track for free.

If you buy a record or CD at a participating retailer on November 26, Black Friday, Haromix has arranged for you to receive a token for a free download of 'Roadhouse Blues' by The Doors. You'll get to support your local store and yourself, huzzah!

If you really want to pay money for downloadable content, though, the tracks from Skynyrd and the rest will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii on November 30. They'll cost $2 (160 Microsoft Points; 200 Wii Points) apiece, or you can pick up the whole Lynyrd Skynyrd Pack in one go for $6.99 (560 MS Points, 700 Wii Points).

Here's next week's track listing. Those marked with an X will also have Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

    Lynyrd Skynyrd Pack 01
    • Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Saturday Night Special" X

These are some high-quality tracks. If I can muster up the money, I'll buy them all.
