Linkin Park and Activision Team-Up and Announce DLC for Guitar Hero and DJ Hero 2

Activision and Linkin Park want to brighten your day, the way only "Rap-Rock" can. The publisher revealed it is releasing a six-pack of songs from Linkin Park's latest album, "A Thousand Suns." The tracks will be available on October 19 as Guitar Hero DLC in a bundle for $11.99 (960MS Points, 1200 Wii Points) or individually for $1.99 each (160MS Points, 200 Wii Points.)

The DLC also includes the track, "The Catalyst," featured in promotional material for EA's Medal of Honor, proving that Linkin Park doesn't take sides in the war between video game publishers. The complete track list can be found after the break.

In the same press release, Activision noted that DJ Hero 2 players can expect their own set of Linkin Park content later this winter in the form of a three-track remixed set.

The new marketing "BFFs" also revealed that Linkin Park's new album will be given away to gamers who order Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock or DJ Hero 2 from Amazon, between "12:01am PST on October 17 and 11:59pm PST on October 23."

Christ, "The Catalyst" is such an awful song...that Eurotrash beat thing they decided to experiment with is terrible.

If one assumes Linkin Park released the best material they had, their other shit must've really sucked.
