PlayStation Store Adds Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Handful of Demos and New DLC

Tuesday's PlayStation Store Update added Lara Croft's latest adventure and a laundry list of downloadable content for various titles and a handful of new demos.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is now available on the PlayStation Store for $14.99; although the famous video game heroine won't be able to bring her adventure online, for the time being. PlayStation Plus users can purchase the original PSone title, Tomb Raider, for a discounted $5.00 price-tag to celebrate Lara's new game release. The "side scrolling, real time strategy game" Swords & Soldiers has also been released, priced at $9.99.

Demos for EA Sports MMA, a Move-enhanced version of Heavy Rain, MySims SkyHeroes, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, and this week's PSN original titles are also available to download for all PS3 users. There are also new PSP game demos available, including the previously PlayStation Plus-exclusive God of War: Ghost of Sparta demo.

Users looking to freshen up their current crop of games can download new content for Borderlands, Mafia 2, DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, and more.

The full list of releases can be found, as always, on the PlayStation Blog.
