Mount up, PC gamers. The 'British Armed Forces' add-on for Bohemia Interactive's ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead has been released for $9.99.

As previously detailed, the DLC includes a "short campaign... focused on depicting the assymetrical warfare with a guerilla force and the counter-insurgency operations," and "all the British units, vehicles and equipment."

As always, if you're curious about ArmA II, a demo of the Operation Arrowhead standalone expansion can be downloaded from FileShack. My first foray into the game is documented here.

I will be getting this and I hope Bohemia continues to release DLC for ArmA 2. They can't be making that much money off this game but with the Tom Clancy line basically dead to me, ArmA is the only game in town and one of the few modern, PC centric titles on the market. You can't do this on consoles.

Got that right! Steam needs to get on the ball.

They are a day late and will soon be $10 short..
at least as far as my weekly game budget is concerned.

They aren't late on all platforms. As far as I know, only the Steam version had to be delayed because of some technical difficulties. You can, among other places, get it directly from the ArmA2 website.

It's these little things about Steam that are slowly building up, that will eventually make me rage big time. Yay, they are cool they are nice, yay saving PC gaming and all that. Meanwhile there's a storm brewing.
