I've been running into a bunch of opponents in Platinum or Diamond that have managed to cheese their way there, usually with a sneaky build that catches most players off guard the first time they see it. Looking through these player's match history reveals they do a single all-in build for all games.

Last night, a Platinum player hit me with a Marine rush. It put me in a bad position, but I eventually pushed him back and went on the counterattack. When I got to his base, he had 9 total SCVs (this is 12 minutes into the game) and 5 Barracks. Hopefully, the ladders will normalize soon!
