Good Old Games Adds 'Classic' Serious Sam: The First Encounter

The PC game enthusiasts at Good Old Games have announced a new member in its anti-DRM army, and he's got some serious skills.

Croteam's original (and maniacal) Serious Sam franchise is coming to, beginning today with the release of Serious Sam: The First Encounter. Sam's second encounter is slated to release soon. Both titles are priced at $9.99, each.

"The agreement with Devolver Digital brings the original Serious Sam series -- not that fancy, newfangled HD stuff -- to the vast catalogue of classics," the announcement press release joked. " is the only place on the internet to get the original first two parts of the Serious Sam adventures."

HD-revamps of Serious Sam: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter currently available on Steam for $14.99 and $19.99, respectively.
