Today brings a new life lesson for me: Always bring a worldwide event calendar to contract negotiations. Today, in Canada, it's the August long weekend! The civic holiday essentially boils down to, "Last call on cottage country."

Sadly, my feet aren't propped up on a cooler, watching the sun rise slowly from beyond the trees. I'm here at work! It's not so bad, really. Let's just hope the industry starts to get a little more interesting as the summer closes. It's been brutal ever since that StarCrafting game came out.

If it's anything like Minecraft, it might be pretty decent.

  Funny thing. I discovered MineCraft on the same day that I (finally) beat the first Starcraft.
