New Alan Wake Live Action Clip Teases Something Coming Next Week

7
Keeping the Alan Wake mystery theme in full effect, Remedy let slip a very brief new live action video on their YouTube channel today. The scant few scenes feature situations that will be familiar to those who've played the game: Wake waking up disoriented, finding a page of his manuscript, but most interestingly holding a flare up to ward off the taken while embracing a woman. Is this his wife? Good question.

That's but one of the questions this video poses. For that matter we don't even know exactly what it's leading up to, but we will next week. Our informant tells us there will be more to come next Wed. The week before E3 offers the perfect spot for them to grab the spotlight (a great way to stay out of the dark btw). Will this be the intro to the first downloadable content 'The Signal' due out July 27 for the game? I guess we'll all find out soon enough. [Update: right before posting I've been told it's NOT DLC...hmm.]

Might it be they actually found a pc version of the game?

How well is this game selling? I'm just curious because I haven't noticed it selling out in retail stores. Has there been any reporting on sales yet? Thanks!

I heard the first few weeks sales were something like 80k, which is pretty awful for a AAA title like this.

Sales were killed by Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead has sold over 1M on the 360, while Alan Wake has only sold ~350k, both released the same day.
