Publisher Activision has released a pair of new trailers for Project Gotham Racing developer Bizarre Creations' new racer Blur, explaining its career mode and power-ups.

Blur is scheduled for a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release on May 25 in North America, before screeching to a halt in Europe on May 28.

The first covers its Super Mario Kart-like power-ups, which are scattered throughout the track and offer handy abilities including blasting an enemy or repairing your ride.

The second of the two gives an overview of the game's singleplayer Career Mode, explaining how events and cars are unlocked as well as boss battles.
