As revealed before the game even properly released, the downloadable "Trials of St. Lucia" add-on for Dante's Inferno hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 today.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points / $10, the add-on brings a cooperative online multiplayer mode and accompanying gameplay editor to Visceral's poetic beat 'em up:

DLC is starting to have the opposite effect developers want on me I think. Now with pretty much all games doing DLC I tend to wait now for some cheap bundled edition and play it all at once rather then play bits of extra content.

Yeah me too... if developpers fostered a sense that they are going to support their game for years with fresh DLC (like MMOs do with updates), maybe I would buy it as it came along.

As it is though, most just release around 5 DLC packs over the course of maybe a year.

      imo

Most DLC isn't even that enticing to being with. I usually buy DLC just so I can feel that my game is "complete" and not because its something I really want.

Although the fact that I really like these types of games (i enjoyed Dantes Inferno quite a bit more than I thought i would) and experiencing 2 player coop, regardless of how lack luster it will probably be implemented, makes me very curious about this one.

Considering the only co-op action game of this sort I can think of, off the top of my head/that ive played, is DMC3... and that was only... kinda, coop.

I still say Where The FuuuuuUUUUU is my Demon's Souls, Land of Giants, DLC... FUCKER!!!

I have always found this title funny ever since it was announced. The reason why is because we can all endure the trials of St. Lucia, namely what resort to go too, if you'd rather sit, swim or tour and whether you want a daiquiri or a pina colada! Its a beautiful island BTW so next time you feel like a tropical vacation, think St.Lucia ;-)

This is no different from expansion packs. They would always come bundled at some point. Its just a new name now.

Actually, it is different. Expansion packs had some meat and potatos...DLC are all over priced table scraps. Fuck DLC, not interested in paying for something over and above. Hell, I typically don't buy a game until it's on sale on steam or EB/FS for console. And yes, in the case of steam it usually includes all DLC bundled. Time for the consumers to step up and refuse suck pick pocketing. Sadly, most parents these days would rather pay the "baby sitter" (AKA XBox live and PS3 DLC) to keep the kids busy then actually look at what is being charged to the Cc.
